This is a semi abstract watercolor painting I did of Venice. I made my Lines thicker to exaggerate the structures to make it not be detailed. I slightly distorted shapes in my buildings to make to show the lack of detail. The colors of the buildings were based on the reference photo, but they were altered to contrast from the background. I feel like there is a good balance between the darker cool colors and the lighter warm colors.
