This is an acrylic painting of my dog. I used a good value range in this painting. The off white against the dark green chair has a lot of contrast. The varying thicknesses of line is harder to see in this painting. On my dogs head I struggled to get a good texture, but I feel like i did a good job with the rest of his body. I also feel like there is good unity in my painting. I think everything looks as though it belongs.
