This painting was an oil pastel landscape based on a google reference photo. I feel like a did a good job with the grass since I dulled my greens closer to the horizon. I also chose to make make sky contain both blue and orange since they are compliment colors. I wish I would have done better with my road, I feel like it goes nowhere. I feel like my mountains have a good value range. They have white and blacks that contrast to show edges and shadow qualities. There is unity in the sky between the colors. The texture of the mountains was achieved by using the different values.
