This is an acrylic painting of a cornfield. This painting took a few turns in artistic direction. It started with one subject and that subject completely changed. I like the colors I chose to use in the sky. I think that the texture of my grass turned out nice. There is also a nice value range in the clouds. The contrast between the foreground and background is also nice. It helps to establish depth. I also used this to put emphasis on the foreground.
